Testimonials
Jovanna Lan Baxter (LSL Cadette AA 2022-2023):
One of my favourite memories is going on the ice with the players and using all the learning I’ve picked up throughout the years and giving them some techniques allowing them to improve their game.
Sofia Morello (LSL Cadette AA 2022-2023):
My favourite memory at camp has to be getting to be coached by ringette superstars. When I was younger, I used to show up at camp wanting to become one of the camp councilors. I am now lucky enough to be playing with them, against them or be personally coached by them!
Lily-Mai Cantin (LSL Cadette AA 2022-2023):
My favorite memory of camp has to be the friendships that I made. As a shy kid, I learned to open up and to make unforgettable memories with my new teammates and camp counsellors.
Coralie Habay (LSL Cadette AA 2022-2023):
One of my favourite memories from camp was when I was a camper and at the end of the week we would get to watch our conseillers play in a game and cheer them on!
Sierra Legare (Atome A):
For two years I woke up early three days a week -every week to work on my skills for the sport I love. I love the sport and the sport loves me. It just fits. Some people play soccer while others play hockey and some even swim. Not me, I skate, I pass, I shoot, I spear and I deek. These are all the parts of a puzzle. One called ringette.
Ringette. Learning. Fun. The three key elements to Excellence Ringette.
I learnt many skills in previous years and got places I would not have with any other group of coaches. Spearing, shooting, skating, deeking and passing skills have been developed and been brought to as high as they can go. They have very few limitations. Only the ones you set for yourself.
I also learnt the game and it’s benefits on your learning abilities. I started this program and immediately began to think more clearly, focus more and I wasn’t as tired.
I know I had fun. The sensation of doing something you love. Being with your teammates and friends. Learning all you can. Having great coaches. It’s all for fun, just like ringette.
If you have taken the program write a blog. Let the world know your opinion.
I know I like it, do you?
